2024 World Series of Poker
A player in early position raised, Karo Nuri three-bet to 22,000 from middle position and the original raiser called.
The 8♠A♦K♥ flop saw the early position player check-call a bet of 15,000 from Nuri.
The J♣ turn saw Nuri's opponent play in flow. Nuri bet again, this time for 56,000, earning a lengthy fold.
Bin Weng raised to 8,000 from the cutoff and was three-bet to 16,000 by Winson Yuen in the small blind. Weng called.
Weng then called a 27,000 bet from Yuen on the A♠2♦J♦ flop and fired 43,500 into the middle after Yuen checked on the A♥ turn.
Yuen tanked for a few minutes, but eventually opted to fold and Weng added to his stack.
Eider Cruz, who had already been whittled down to a short stack, opened to 8,000 on the button and then moved all in after Brandon Crawford three-bet to 22,000 out of the small blind. Crawford quickly called to put his opponent at risk.
Eider Cruz: A♥Q♣
Brandon Crawford: A♦K♣
Cruz was dominated and would need significant help to survive. None came on the 7♠5♣A♠A♣3♠ runout to hand Crawford the pot and knockout while forcing Cruz to the exits.
The action was picked up on a turn of 6♥3♠2♠K♥. The player in the big blind had put in 30,000 chips in a pot of 45,000, which Tang raised to 95,000.
The big blind then shoved all in for 168,400. Tang asked for a count and thought for a few minutes before calling it off.
Big blind: K♠Q♥
Danny Tang: A♥A♣
"I wasn't trying to slowroll you," Tang apologized after seeing the cards. Meanwhile, the 9♦ river could not save the big blind as he exited from the Main Event.
Action was caught at the very end of a hand as Parker Talbot bet enough to put Dimitrii Kamalov all in as the board read Q♣9♦Q♠A♦K♠.
Kamalov would find the call and table the Q♦J♦ which bested the K♦J♥ of Talbot to score the big pot.
With over 100,000 chips in the middle on a board of 3♦K♥Q♠J♦8♠, Adrian Lopez fired a bet of 35,000 on the river. Raymond Xu was the man with the decision was deep in the tank before he finally gave it up.
