Frank Lagodich opened to 600,000 and action folded to Jesse Wigan, who defended from the big blind to see a flop of 9♦A♠8♠. Both players decided to check and went to the turn 3♠, which saw a bet of 1,200,000 from Wigan and a call from Lagodich.

On the river 10♣, Wigan checked his cards once more before he announced that he was all in, which put Lagodich in the blender as the bet covered him.

After several minutes of thought, Lagodich made the call and tabled A♥2♦ for a pair of aces, but then Wigan flipped over 6♥7♣ for a rivered straight to send him out in sixth place.
