Difelice Survives on the Bubble

Action was picked up on the Q83 flop in a hand between Adam Friedman in the hijack and Jonathan Cohen in the cutoff with 85,000 in the middle.

Friedman checked, Cohen potted, Friedman tanked for a while before he raised to put Cohen at risk for 175,000 total and he called.

Cohen was ahead with aces against the eights of Friedman. However, the 5 peeled off on the turn which gave Friedman two pair and vaulted him into the lead.

In dramatic fashion, the dealer fanned out the A on the river to give Cohen top set and he survived on the stone bubble.
