Duc Nguyen opened to 2,500,000 from middle position, then Ilija Savevski on the button three-bet all-in for 17,100,000. The blinds folded and Nguyen called.

Ilija Savevski: KK All in
Duc Nguyen: KQ

Nguyen was clearly unhappy when he discovered that Savevski had kings. But his smile reappeared when he flopped a straight on J10A.

A split was still possible after the 3 turn, but the 2 completed the board and Savevski was eliminated.

Players folded around to Duc Nguyen in the small blind. He limped in. Lukas Hafner in the big blind made it 3,500,000. Nguyen then three-bet to 12,000,000 and Hafner, after a few moments of thinking, went all in. Nguyen quickly called.

Lukas Hafner: AJAll in
Duc Nguyen: AQ

Hafner was at risk with the dominated ace. The flop 725 did not change much, Hafner needed a jack or running hearts for the win. The turn 7 and 6 did not work out for him and he was sent to the rail, while Nguyen added a pile of chips to his stack, extending his chip lead.
