Mustafov Stack Dwindles Some More

Fahredin Mustafov raised from the hijack to 240,000 and Adrian Mateos called from the cutoff, as did Aleks Dimitrov from the big blind.

The three players saw a flop of 2♥6♠9♠ which Dimitrov checked, Mustafov bet 350,000, Mateos called, and Dimitrov folded.

When the K♣ landed on the turn, Mustafov slowed down with a check, and Mateos bet 500,000. Mustafov quickly folded.

Adrian Mateos opened to 240,000 from under the gun and Aleks Dimitrov three-bet to 675,000 in the cutoff. Action folded back around to Mateos, who responded with a four-bet to 1,350,000 only to see Dimitrov move all in. Mateos quickly folded to concede the pot without seeing a flop.

Lots of Three-Bets, No Flops

The last few hands have all included lots of three-bets, but no flops.

First, Egor Procop made it 250,000 from the cutoff and Adrian Mateos three-bet the big blind to 750,000. Procop folded.

Then, Aleks Dimitrov opened under the gun to 240,000 and Fahredin Mustafov three-bet the cutoff to 500,000. Dimitrov folded.

Mateos then raised from the hijack to 240,000 and Alexandre Reard three-bet the cutoff to 700,000. Everybody folded.

Finally, Reard opened the cutoff to 250,000 and Aram Zobian shoved from the button for almost 2,700,000. Everybody folded.

Reard Retakes Lead from Mateos in Massive Pot

Adrian Mateos opened to 440,000 in the small blind and Alexandre Reard called in the big blind.

Mateos continued for 600,000 on the 2♥K♥6♣ flop with Reard making the call.

The K♠ turn saw Mateos continue his aggression with a bet of 1,500,000. Reard counted out calling chips, rechecked his cards, sighed as he mulled over his decision, then matched the bet.

Mateos emptied the clip once the 3♥ river completed the board but immediately appeared dejected as Reard snapped him off holding Q♥7♥ for the flush. Mateos could only show J♥7♠ for a bluff to double his opponent and consequentially fall back into the pack.

Adrian Mateos raised from middle position to 320,000 and Alexandre Reard three-bet from the hijack to 650,000. Once it got back to Mateos, he shoved for just under 4,000,000, and Reard snap-folded.

With the latest blind increase, the big blind went up by 33%, which has made the stacks a lot shallower. Egor Procop found himself with around thirteen big blinds on the button and shoved them into the middle, but was managed to win the pot as both the blinds folded.

Action checked through the 3♠ turn to the 4♥ river at which point both players checked once more. Mateos tabled A♦K♦ and that was good enough to take down the pot.
