Action folded around to the blinds, where Josh Arieh raised from the small blind and was three-bet by Chris Brewer in the big blind. Arieh called.
Arieh check-folded facing a continuation bet from Brewer on the 3♦8♣3♥ flop and Brewer was sent the pot.
Arieh, who won the event last year, is down early and will be looking to spin his stack up in hopes of a repeat title.
