Big Turnout for $250 PokerNews Daily Deepstack at 1:00
The $250 buy-in PokerNews Daily Deepstack tournament, which kicked off at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, had 143 entrants, a large field for just the first day of the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP).
Registration closed after the eighth 30-minute level with $30,745 in the prize pool. Players all started with 25,000 chips, and those chips were flying right from the start. At the time of publishing, 45 players remained and 22 will be paid. The winner will take home $7,126, a nice bankroll starter for the rest of the summer.
The $200 Deepstack will kick off at 8 p.m. PT. Players will have unlimited re-entries and will receive 20,000 chips starting at the 100/100 (100) blind level.
