Another Huge Crowd Expected for the $600 NLHE Deepstack
Welcome back to PokerNews, the official media partner of the 2025 World Series of Poker and home of live updates from all bracelet events.
It’s an early start in Event #10: $600 No-Limit Hold’em Deepstack today, with cards in the air at 10 a.m.
The starting stack is 30,000 chips with the plan for Day 1 to play 22 levels (30 minutes each). This two-day event will resume at 11 a.m. on Day 2 Sunday and play down to a winner.
Late registration is open for the first 12 levels. There will be 20-minute breaks every four levels, with a 75-minute dinner break after Level 16 (about 7 p.m.). Players are limited to a single reentry if they bust out before registration closes.
The reigning champion of this event is Christopher Moen, who won $289,323 and his first WSOP bracelet last year. Moen defeated Thomas Kuess in a heads-up battle that lasted just ten hands.
“That was impressive, wasn’t it?” the Sioux Falls native joked with PokerNews after the fact, “I mean, I really hit that string of cards, and then I really took off.”
