Anderson Eliminates Two with Rivered Trips

Level 33 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante

It was a three way all-in and a double elimination on Table #533.

Thomas Savitsky open-jammed all-in for 1,200,000 from late position and got called by Joshua Zapalac, who covered him. Jared Anderson in the big blind, however, snap called putting both the other players at risk.

Thomas Savitsky: KJ All in
Joshua Zapalac: 99 All in
Jared Anderson: AQ

Zapalac was ahead pre-flop but that immediately changed when the flop fell Q3K , giving Savitsky top pair and a potential triple up. The turn 5 didn't improve either Zapalac's or Anderson's hand.

The lead and the victory, however, transferred to Anderson when the Q fell on the river giving him trips and ending Savitsky's and Zapalac's tournament run.
