Held Scores Big Double to Leave Li on Fumes

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Pei Li raised to 100,000 from the button before Konstantin Held chose to jam from the small blind for 1,180,000. Li called to create a big pot with Held at risk.

Konstantin Held: KQAll in
Pei Li: KJ

Held enjoyed a sizeable lead over Li with the better king, and the flop only increased Held's chances as it came 949 to give Held a flush draw.

The 3 on the turn improved Held to a flush to end the hand as the compulsory 8 hit the river to complete the board.

Vladislav Donchev: 55

No help at all for Kerstetter on the 1042 flop and nothing changed with the 10 turn nor the K river and she was sent to the rail.

Tanaka Takes Normand Out

Level 25 : Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

Derek Normand had gone from being one of the leaders with some 600,000 chips to being the shortest stack still in at only 30,000 when the big blind was 40,000.

He fought back, though, rebuilding to 220,000. He put it all at risk on the button.

Kei Tanaka made the call.

Derek Normand: A5All in
Kei Tanaka: A4

The fairly even hands, which often result in a chopped pot, didn't this time thanks to a runout of 664104. Tanaka's full house ended Normand's day.

Loeliger Dodges Diamonds

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Shawn Buchanan shoved from middle position, and Paulina Loeliger reshoved from the cutoff. Everyone else folded.

Shawn Buchanan: K8 All in
Paulina Loeliger: AJ

The window ace alone gave Buchanan low odds, but the full 23A flop had Loeliger with her head in her hands. She managed to fade all outs as the 57 runout helped her cross the seven-figure mark.

Montazeri Survives; Allen Left Short

Level 26 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Yasha Montazeri jammed from late position for their final 120,000. The wager was called in the big blind by Daniel Allen to put Montazeri at risk.

Yasha Montazeri: AKAll in
Daniel Allen: J5

Montazeri and Allen both hit a piece of the K54 flop, but it was Montazeri who still maintained their lead.

The 7 turn and the 9 river kept Montazeri in front to score the double and leave Allen with few chips to work with.
