Mixed Game Enthusiast Jansen Hunting First Cash
Bradley Jansen has played four events thus far at the 2025 WSOP, without results. On his hunt for his first cash, he registered the $1,500 No-Limit 2-7 on time and immediately got involved in several pots.
He raised to 300 in the hijack, which Jeff Mills called in the big blind. Each player drew two cards, and Jansen folded when Mills led out for 700.
The next hand, Ray Villaman opened to 600 under the gun, which Jansen three-bet to 1,800. Mills called in the small blind, and Villaman came along as well.
Mills and Jansen each drew one card, while Villaman decided to stay pat. Mills then checked to Villaman, who fired 4,800. Jansen quickly laid his hand down, but Mills tossed in an instant call.
Villaman showed 10x7x5x4x3x for a ten-low, but Mills tabled 9x8x7x6x4x for a nine-low and won back-to-back pots.
Meanwhile, Ryan Hoenig and Ariel Mantel were discussing whether single draw or triple draw was their game of preference.
