Yang Saved by the River

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

On a board of 6A24 Haiyang Yang bet out for 125,000 and Thomas Boivin raised to 350,000. Yang went into the tank before announcing all in for 835,000. Boivin snap called.

Haiyang Yang: 106All in
Thomas Boivin: A6

Boivin had flopped top two pair, and Yang needed to spike a heart on the river to stay alive.

Eights are Good for Chen

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Maxwell Shenmolesky opened with a raise on the button and Nan Chen defended in the big blind.

The flop of 2108 went check-check, as did the Q turn. The A landed on the river, bringing four cards to a flush.

Chen checked for a third time and Shenmolesky put out a bet of 50,000. After a brief moment of thought, Chen made the call.

"You win," said Shenmolesky, tabling 75. Chen turned over 98 to scoop the pot with a pair of eights.

A Long Tank for Pointer

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

The hand was ongoing when Johan Rascar check-called John Pointer's bet of 40,000 on a flop of JK6 with 100,000 chips already in the pot.

The turn dropped A and the same thing happened when Pointer kept the pressure with a 150,000 bet. After another check, Pointer fired another 300,000 on the 2 river, just to receive a raise from Rascar to 750,000 sending him to the tank.

He took a long time to consider his options, allowing the other players on the table to stretch their legs and listen to Martin Kabrhel's monologue on the other table.

Finally he folded his hand. Pointer looked satisfied and relieved after Rascar showed A before scooping the pot.

Everyone folded around to Samir Tageldin in the small blind, and he completed to see a flop. Martin Kabrhel, sitting in the big blind, responded by shoving all in, and Tageldin snap-called.

“Oh, you played me?” Kabrhel remarked as the cards were tabled.

Samir Tageldin: A6

Tageldin hit top pair right away as the flop came 6AQ, leaving Kabrhel in need of some help. The 10 on the turn gave him a few outs, but the 7 on the river sealed it for Tageldin and sent Kabrhel to the rail.

Level 21 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Giuseppe Lomuscio raised to 45,000 from the button only for Chad Layne to three-bet all in from the small blind. Lisa Tan then went into the tank before she called for her last 450,000. Lomuscio folded instantly.

Lisa Tan: 88All in

With the board showing 26910 and roughly 120,000 already in the pot, Ashton Nikzad checked it over to Tristan Wade, who put out a bet of 100,000. Nikzad made the call without much hesitation.
