Philip Hellmuth III, the "Poker Brat's" son is grinding away at the 2025 WSOP, and he's looking to carve his own legacy in poker. PokerNews caught up with the younger Hellmuth on Sunday to find out if he desires to follow in his father's footsteps, and if he shares in the Poker Hall of Famer's unrivaled passion for winning bracelets.

Both players checked on the J♣Q♥6♠ flop and J♦ turn and Pearson checked a final time on the 7♥ river.

Glaser put 1,100,000 into the middle and Pearson looked him up. Glaser showed A♠Q♦5♠3♠3♦ for queens and jacks and Pearson sent his hand into the muck.

In a limped pot to the 3♠7♠10♣ flop, Travis Pearson checked from the big blind to Benny Glaser on the button, who bet 500,000. Pearson then raised to 2,400,000, and Glaser called after some thought.

Pearson continued firing on the 2♠ turn, putting 3,100,000 in the middle. Glaser shoved all in in response, and Pearson snap-called.

Travis Pearson: A♣Q♠8♥5♠5♦

Pearson's rail erupted in cheers as the Q♣ river rolled off. Pearson went to them to celebrate his victory, but Glaser kindly informed them he had a king-high flush for half the pot.

"I thought I won," Pearson said as he explained he thought Glaser had a nine-high flush. Instead, Pearson was only awarded the low part of the pot as the heads up battle continued.

Pearson announced a pot-sized bet of 5,100,000 on the 2♣K♠A♥ flop — sending Glaser deep into the tank.

After a couple minutes of deliberation, Glaser decided to go all in and Pearson quickly called to put him at risk.

Travis Pearson: A♣Q♠6♣4♣2♠

The 10♦3♦ runout saw Glaser get out of his seat to shake Pearson's hand, having missed that the river improved him to a better two pair for a split pot.

Glaser realized his mistake and sat back down to resume their heads-up battle.

Pearson showed A♠A♦K♠K♥ for top set, scooping up the pot as Glaser mucked his hand.

Glaser limped in on the button. Pearson then raised the pot to 900,000, which Glaser called.

Pearson bet 1,200,000 on the 6♠4♠9♠ flop and 2,500,000 on the 5♠ turn, both of which Glaser called.

The river brought the 4♦. Pearson announced a pot-sized bet of 9,500,000, almost putting him all-in. Glaser tanked for a bit but eventually decided to give up on the pot and fold his hand.
