Vitch Scoops a Massive One; Carpenter and Woods Gone
Pot-Limit: 6,000 Ante, 3,000/6,000 Blinds, 12,000-21,000 Pot Limit Raise
Omaha Hi-Lo
Chris Vitch opened from under the gun and Daquon Wilson called in the hijack. In the cutoff James Woods three-bet, prompting Troy Carpenter to four-bet, which Vitch called. Wilson capped it and Woods, Carpenter, and Vitch all called.
The flop of K♣8♥8♠ checked through to the turn 7♠ where Vitch bet and both Wilson and Woods called. Carpenter raised all in for 64,000 total which Vitch responded to by raising once more over his bet. Wilson pitched his cards but Woods called to create a side pot between the two of them.
On the 9♣ river, Vitch bet and Woods sighed.
"I would have bet any amount of money that a nine would come off," Woods lamented as he tossed his hand into the muck.
Troy Carpenter: A♠Q♥10♥2♠
Chris Vitch: A♣8♣5♦3♣
Vitch's three eights were good for the pot to eliminate Carpenter and push Vitch up towards the top of the chip counts.
Shortly after, Vitch took the rest of Woods' chips.
