Welcome back to PokerNews, the official media partner of the 2025 World Series of Poker and home of live updates from all bracelet events.

Today sees the start of Event #15: $1,500 Mixed Omaha here at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas. This event is made up of three Omaha variants, and is played eight-handed: Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better, & Big O

This three-day event gets underway at 2 p.m. local time with late registration open for nine levels (approximately 8:45 p.m.). There will be 15-minute breaks every three levels, with no dinner break pencilled in. Players are permitted two reentries.

The starting stack is 25,000 chips with the plan for Day 1 to play 15 40-minute levels. For the surviving players, Day 2 resumes at 1 p.m. Tuesday, levels increase to 60 minutes, and closes after another ten levels of play. A winner will be crowned on Day 3.

Last year, Sweden’s Magnus Edengren topped a field of 853 players to win $196,970 and his first WSOP bracelet. He defeated Tim Seidensticker heads-up, telling PokerNews he only plays Omaha tournaments

“I have not been close to winning a bracelet yet, but this year I have been great. I was 12th in the PLO8 and thirty-something in Big O. Just four cards for me,” he said. “If there are any of those tournaments while I am in Las Vegas, I will play them."
