Another Straight Flush Over Quads

Level 8 : Blinds 500/1,000, 1,000 ante

All the chips were in the middle when live reporting showed up to the table as players erupted over yet another vicious bad beat.

The only action known before the flop as told to our live reporting team was that it was a family pot with all 6 players at the short-handed table calling 2,500 before the flops it was the last hand before the break. Alan Carlson was all in for 75,000.

Alan Carlson held the 9568 on a 647 flop for the nut straight while, Haim Nagar held 3358 for a lower straight, While Joesph Michelau held KK44 for a flopped set.

The turn was great for Michelau as the 4 gave him quads and the lead in which seemed like an unbeatable hand.

With one card to come, the river was a brutal one for Michelau as the 8 gave Carlson a straight flush. Nagar was eliminated right before the second break of the day.
