Royal Spikes Deuce to Eliminate Ferrari
Level 13
: Blinds 2,000/3,000, 3,000 ante
Cards were on their back preflop when Patrick Royal and Alex Ferrari tangled in a hand, putting Ferrari at risk.
Alex Ferrari: K♦Q♥9♥4♦
Patrick Royal: A♣A♦9♣7♠
Ferrari gained equity when the flop came 2♠3♦J♠ and raced ahead on the Q♠ turn, but the 2♣ river was an unwelcome sight for Ferrari as Royal spiked a better two pair with aces up.
