Double Knockout for Smith with Jacks

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Joel Gossett opened the action from early position with a raise to 60,000. Gregory Smith made the call in the hijack, and Jeremiah Bolahood followed suit from the small blind. With action on Michael Popejoy in the big blind, he moved all in for his remaining 200,000 chips. Gossett re-shoved for 395,000, putting the pressure back on Smith. After getting a count and giving it some thought, Smith eventually made the call. Bolahood stepped aside, sending his cards to the muck, and the three remaining players went to showdown.

Michael Popejoy: AK82All in
Joel Gossett: QJ99All in
Gregory Smith: JJ77

Smith held the best hand with a pair of jacks, and the board ran out 36634, changing nothing. He scooped the pot and sent both Popejoy and Gossett to the rail, building a healthy stack in the process.
