Sternheimer Gets Stronger

Level 23

Razz

Philip Sternheimer: 8x6x3x / 7x4xQxKx
Dario Alioto: Jx8xAx / 3x7xAxKx
Ryan Hoenig: 9x5x4x / 3x7xQx10x

Philip Sternheimer was the bring in before Dario Alioto completed. Ryan Hoenig made the call, as did Sternheimer.

Alioto fired a bet and Hoenig quickly raised. Sternheimer called, and Alioto also tossed in a call. Alioto led out with a bet again on fifth street, with both opponents calling.

Hoenig checked sixth street, as did Sternheimer. Both then called after Alioto slid out a bet. Another check from Hoenig and Sternheimer followed seventh street, and Alioto quickly put out a bet. Both Hoenig and Sternheimer called, and the hands were turned up.

Sternheimer's eight-seven pipped Hoenig's nine-seven, taking down a sizeable pot.

"Nice hand," said Hoenig as Sternheimer added more chips to his stack.
