Lane's Jack Eliminates Vessey
Level 10
: Blinds 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante
Action was picked up with all the chips in the middle and two players at risk — John Lane and Lisa Vessey.
Lisa Vessey: A♦8♦
John Lane: J♦J♠
Lane was already ahead with his jacks preflop, and the 7♣7♦6♣ flop kept him firmly in the lead with no ace in sight. Vessey was still hoping to spike an ace, but the Q♠ turn changed nothing. The 5♣ river sealed her fate, eliminating her from the tournament as Lane scooped the pot.
