Lucky Seven Awards Colquhoun the Pot
Level 25
: Blinds 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante
The hand was a battle of two players in early position when Angelo Perez opened under the gun to 100,000. Shaun Colquhoun called in the next seat over, and the rest of the table folded, creating a heads-up pot.
The flop of 5♥9♣5♠ resulted in Perez checking his option before Colquhoun fired 150,000.
Perez called to bring the 9♠ turn. Perez once again checked, and Colquhoun bet 250,000, which was called by Perez.
The 7♣ river saw both players check.
Colquhoun showed A♥7♥ for a rivered pair, and Perez mucked his hand while shaking his head.
