Halama Doubles with Flopped Flush

Skyler Halama raised to 1200 from early position and was called by several opponents.

Tracy Doss called two seats over from middle position before Tsega Sileshi called from the cutoff, and Walter Diaz came along from the button.

The K♣10♣6♣ resulted in a check from Halama. Doss opted to bet 4000 garnering folds from Sileshi and Diaz. Halama came along with a call.

Halama once again checked on the 2♠ turn. Doss put Halama all in and was quickly called.

With around 2,500 in the pot on a flop of J♦10♥6♣, Claudio Elizalde shoved from the small blind for 3,300 and was instantly called by Jeffrey Lies out of the big blind. Carl McDonald called from the button and they went to the turn.

With Elizalde all in, the dealer burned a card and then put out the A♦ on the turn. Lies shoved for McDonald's remaining 15,000, forcing McDonald to fold.

Jeffrey Lies: K♥Q♠

Elizalde was drawing dead with bottom pair against the turned Broadway straight of Lies. An irrelevant 4♣ came on the river to cement Elizalde's elimination from the tournament.

Brutal River Ends Brajovic's Run

Robert Brajovic made it 2,300 from early position with only Stacy Kimbrel calling from the button.

The dealer put out a flop of A♥10♣7♠ and Brajovic continued with a bet of 2,500. Kimbrel stuck around with a call.

The 2♣ fell on the turn and Brajovic fired again, this time for 4,300. Kimbrel called once more.

When the Q♦ appeared on the river, Brajovic tossed out a bet 6,500, and after a few moments, Kimbrel jammed for around 43,000. Brajovic had around 36,000 remaining in his stack, and after thinking for over a minute, made the call.

Kimbrel turned over the nuts with K♥J♠ for a straight to win the pot, as Brajovic showed top two pair with A♠Q♥.

Tumbas' Big Stack, No Impact on Osborn

John Tumbas opened to 2,200 from the cutoff and got a call from Tracie Osborn in the big blind, bringing both players to the flop.

Both checked the 6♠A♠9♠ flop. When action checked to him again on the 7♦ turn, Tumbas applied pressure with a bet of 4,000, which Osborn called after a moment of thought.

On the 5♦ river, Osborn took the lead and slid 5,000 into the pot. Tumbas looked slightly disappointed before releasing his hand.

Spencer Mclaughlin limped under the gun, Patrick Chung followed with another call as next to act, and Christine Nino bumped the price of admission to 6,000 from Chung's immediate left. Both Mclaughlin and Chung called.

With a little over 19,000 in the middle, three players saw a flop of 10♥5♣4♠.

After two checks, Nino fired a bet of 10,000 out. Mclaughlin then slid his roughly 40,000 remaining chips in the middle putting himself at risk. Chung quickly folded and Nino quickly called.

Nightmare struck on the turn for Mclaughlin as the K♠ was slapped down.

With around 9,000 in the pot on a board reading 4♦A♠10♥A♣, David Russell and Christine Nino checked to Roxanne Johnson on the button, who fired out a bet of 3,000. Russell folded from the big blind, but Johnson called.

The 2♠ came on the river and both players checked. Nino showed K♦10♦ for a pair of tens, which was enough to take down the pot.
