Peters Continues to Sun Run
Level 12
: Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
David Peters opened for a raise to 40,000. Cary Katz called in the small blind and the two went heads up to a flop.
The action went check-check on the 9♦8♥4♣ board. On the 10♣ turn, Katz led out for 100,000. Peters used a time bank card, before jamming all in for the remainder of Katz's chips. Katz quickly made the call and turned over 10♠10♦. Peters showed him the bad news as he had 7♠6♠ for a straight.
The A♣ river did not improve Katz, and he was eliminated from the tournament on the soft bubble.
Peters is now one of the largest stacks in the tournament.
