Wantman Wins It Three-Way

Level 18 : Limits 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

James Newberry open-raised in the cutoff, with Carl Vaillancourt and Matthew Wantman calling in the blinds.

Vaillancourt changed two cards, Wantman wanted one new one, and Newberry took two. After Vaillancourt checked, Wantman bet and received two calls.

Vaillancourt and Newberry still needed two cards each, but this time Wantman stood pat in between. Wantman fired another bet after the second draw. Only Vaillancourt came along to the final draw, where he stood pat.

Wantman did not change course and kept the same cards. He tossed in one more bet after the draw, and Vaillancourt quickly check-called to showdown.

Wantman showed down 7654 for the worst seven-badugi, enough to take the pot as Vaillancourt quickly added his cards to the muck.
