Sarle Soaring After Lots of Action
Limits: 100,000-200,000
Aloisio Dourado raised, and James Newberry called in the big blind. Newberry check-called Dourado's bets to showdown, drawing one card on each of the three draws while Dourado remained pat.
Dourado tabled 9♥7♦3♠A♣ for a nine-badugi and won the pot.
A few hands later, Newberry raised on the button, calling when Dominick Sarle threebet from the big blind. Sarle remained pat throughout the three draws, with Newberry drawing one each time.
Having called bets after the first and second draw, Newberry folded to Sarle's final barrel after the last draw.
Sometime later, Jonathan Glendinning on the button and Sarle in the small blind capped the betting before the first draw. Both players stood pat on the first draw. Salre bet and Glendinning called.
They remained pat again, but Glendinning gave up on the pot after the second draw as he folded to a second bet by Sarle.
One hand later, Newberry raised under the gun, calling when Glendinning tossed in a three-bet in the cutoff. Newberry drew one card, while Glendinning stood pat.
Newberry check-called Glendinning's bets after the first and second draw, on which he kept drawing one, and also drew one card on the final draw.
He then led out against the pat of Glendinning, and won the pot when Glendinning called before mucking his cards when Newberry tabled 9♦7♠2♣A♥
