All players checked on the flops. Xixiang Luo then fired 160,000 on the turns from middle position, which Samuel Stranak called in the hijack. It folded to Giorgos Tsoupras under the gun, who check-jammed for 1,120,000.
Luo folded, but Stranak immediately called, exclaiming, "Chop it up!"
Giorgos Tsoupras: 10♦10♣9♠3♦
Samuel Stranak: J♥10♥6♣5♥
No chopping would be done, however, as Tsoupras' full house on the bottom board was not enough to take the pot, with Stranak having a higher one.
Stranak made two full houses on the river to finish the hand in style and officially send Tsoupras to the rail in 12th.
There were 500,000 chips in the middle as Brian Smith led from the big blind for 425,000, Robert Nehorayan in the cutoff announced "all in" for 1,390,000 and Smith made the call.
Robert Nehorayan: K♠Q♠4♦3♦
Brian Smith: A♣K♦8♥2♣
Smith made two pair on the top and bottom board which eliminated Nehorayan just before the final table.
Yang Wang had his last 135,000 chips in the middle on the flop and was called by Brian Smith, Samuel Stranak, Jacob Baumgartner, Xixiang Luo, and Robert Klein.
The action then checked through to the river where Wang showed K♥K♦Q♦10♣ for a pair of kings. Stranak tabled A♥A♦2♥2♣ for a pair of aces on top and a full house on the bottom, which was enough to scoop and send Wang out in ninth.
There were 960,000 in the pot when Jacob Baumgartner announced "all in" on the flop for 445,000 in early position, Xixiang Luo on his direct left clicked it to 900,000 and Danny Wong pushed his remaining 2,635,000 into the middle. Luo asked for a count and folded once the dealer confirmed the amount.
Jacob Baumgartner: K♠6♦5♣3♥
Danny Wong: A♥A♣Q♠5♠
Baumgartner thanked Wong for the protection on the flop but unfortunately for Baumgartner he was eliminated by Wong's top set on the bottom board and flush on the top. Baumgartner wished him luck when leaving, adding, "Man, what a spot to get back in it".
There were 1,050,000 in the middle and action checked on the flop. Action checked to Ian Matakis on the turn and he bet 1,050,000 from the hijack. Danny Wong called on the button not realising Matakis had roughly 400,000 behind as he went to turn over his hand and a player stopped him.
Matakis decided to check when the river cards were dealt and Wong after a few seconds put Matakis all in, Matakis called. Matakis tabled K♥7♥5♣2♥ but Wang tabled A♦Q♣J♦9♥ making him a full house on the top board and a straight on the bottom board.
Bjorn Verbakel was first to act and shoved 900,000, and when it got to Brian Smith, he made it 1,900,000. Danny Wong was behind and shoved, and Smith quickly called off his stack of around 5,000,000.
Bjorn Verbakel: J♣10♥8♥3♥
Brian Smith: Q♦J♦9♠7♠
Danny Wong: K♣K♠8♠4♠
Smith had flopped a flush draw on the top along with the nuts on the bottom, and improved to a flush on the top turn. The rivers changed nothing and Smith scooped a monster pot to send Verbakel out in sixth.
Brian Smith was second to act and bet the pot of 1,250,000, leaving himself 275,000 behind. Danny Wong then shoved 2,150,000, and Xixiang Luo called. When it got back to Smith, he put in the rest.
Brian Smith: Q♠9♣9♠3♣
Danny Wong: A♥K♦10♥6♦
Xixiang Luo: K♥8♥7♦5♠
Smith flopped a boat on the bottom and had to fade the outs of Wong, who had trips on the same board. Luo was sitting pretty on the top board with trips and made quads on the turn to lock it up.
The bottom went Wong's way as he hit a bigger full house on the river, meaning Smith was out in fifth.
Robert Klein bet 700,000 when third to act on the flop and Danny Wong potted to 3,300,000, leaving 75,000 behind. Samuel Stranak then shoved for 5,500,000, and after thinking it over for some time, Klein called. Wong also called his last 75,000.
Danny Wong: 6♦4♠4♣3♠
Samuel Stranak: K♥8♥6♣3♥
Robert Klein: A♠10♣9♥7♠
Wong had bottom set on the bottom board and an open-ender on the top. Stranak had top two on the top board and an open-ender on the bottom, while Klein held the nut flush draw on top with a gutshot, and a pair on the bottom.
After the board was run, Stranak's top two held on the top board and Klein backdoored a straight on the bottom, meaning they chopped up Wong's chips, who had to settle for fourth.
