Stranak Leading After Day 1 of $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Double Board Bomb Pot

Level 15 : 0/0, 5,000 ante
Samuel Stranak
Samuel Stranak

Event #24: $1,500 Pot-Limit Omaha Double Board Bomb Pot at the Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas started with a lot of familiar faces like Phil Hellmuth, Huck Seed, Jeremy Ausmus and Erik Seidel, but by the end of Day 1, just 162 players remained.

The chip leader going into Day 2 is Samuel Stranak, who became the first Slovakian bracelet winner when he won a €2,000 Pot-Limit Omaha event at WSOP Europe in 2021.

Behind him comes another bracelet winner in Robert Nehorayan, who won his bracelet in 2018, although it came in Limit Hold'em. Both players will return looking to become the inaugural PLO Double Board Bomb Pot bracelet event champion.

With a tally of 1,452 entrants that generated a prize pool of $2,002,671 and a 1st place prize of $290,400, the final 218 places paid, with a min-cash being $3,027.
