As the WSOP nears the end of its first third, 115 players return to the Horseshoe at 11:00 for their chance at a bracelet in Event #28: $600 NLH/PLO. The two most popular poker variants in existence were combined to draw out 2,775 entrants in this tournament and generated a prize pool of $1,398,600 to be divided out among the final 418. Only those survivors beginning the day still have a chance with the $178,126 and the WSOP bracelet.

Leading the way is Easton Oreman (3,020,000) who is looking for his first WSOP bracelet. He’s flanked on the podium by Valentin Vornicu (2,520,000) and WSOP bracelet winner James Calderaro (2,375,000). Many other big names found their way to bags like Kane Kalas (1,565,000), Cristian Gutierrez (1,115,000), Calvin Anderson (990,000), Ari Engel (675,000), and Donny Rubinstein (320,000). Each one looking to perfect their balance of the two games into a bracelet.

Play will resume at 11:00 at Level 23. Blinds will begin at 15,000/30,000, with a 30,000 big blind ante. Levels will last thirty minutes each with a 15-minute break at the conclusion of every four levels. The tournament will continue until a winner is crowned.
