Wolfson Gets Paid with Nines on the River
Level 19
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Ryan Wolfson kicked off the action with a raise to 25,000 from middle position and found a caller in Yilong Wang in the cutoff.
On the 6♠4♦J♦ flop Wolfson check-called the 26,000 bet of Wang.
Both players checked the 6♥ turn.
On the 8♦ river, Wolfson took the lead again and fired another bet of 30,000 which Wang called after some hesitation. Wolfson showed 9♦9♠ for two pair nines and sixes, which seemed enough for Wang as his cards found the muck.
