Lee Rolls Out the Royal
Level 19
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
With about 200,000 already in the pot, the board showed 6♦10♣4♠J♣, and Jamey McKay checked from middle position. His neighbor, Daniel Lee, put out a bet of 75,000, which McKay quickly called.
The A♣ landed on the river, and McKay checked once more. Lee moved all in, and after a short pause, McKay made the call, taking the hand to showdown.
McKay tabled Q♠J♦ for a pair of jacks, but Lee turned over K♣Q♣, good for a royal flush. The table reacted in disbelief as Lee dragged the pot with the best hand in poker.
