What was Liu Waiting For?

Level 23 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante

Jamey McKay opened for 65,000 in middle position and got called by the player to his left, Stian Usterud. With action folded to the big blind, Shijia Liu raised to around 380,000 leaving about 25,000 behind.

McKay folded but Usterud four-bet to 650,000 sending Liu to the tank and in the tank he stayed for quite some time. While considering his options, he watched the clock tick while chatting with the other players on the table. What he was waiting for, only God knows.

After sometime, McKay finally asked the question, "What is he waiting for?" directing the question to Usterud. Liu, overhearing, just answered that he needed a few seconds more.

Finally he made the call, taking them to showdown.

Shijia Liu: AK All in
Stian Usterud: A10

The board ran faster than Liu did in the tank going 46365. With no one hitting the board, Liu's ace-high with a better kicker won the pot.
