Renji Mao opened the action with a raise to 100,000 from under the gun, and Georgios Sotiropoulos was the only one to come along, defending his big blind.
The flop fell J♦10♦A♣, and both players opted to check.
When the 7♠ landed on the turn, Sotiropoulos seized the initiative with a bet of 275,000. Mao called after a brief pause.
The K♣ river brought another strong bet from Sotiropoulos, this time for 550,000. Mao didn’t like what he saw and, after a moment of visible frustration, tossed his cards into the muck, conceding the pot.
