Roberts' Sevens Good at Showdown

Barry Russell

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

[Removed:658] called 100,000 in the small blind with 6♥4♥, and Christian Roberts raised to 650,000 with 7♥7♦. Galiana called.

With roughly 1,500,000 in the pot, Galiana checked to Roberts, who decided to check back on a flop of J♣8♦A♦.

Action went check-check when the 5♠ hit the turn and the 8♣ fell on the river, allowing Roberts to take it down with his sevens.
