Stephen Lee Eliminated in 17th Place ($16,139)

Level 35 : Blinds 250,000/500,000, 500,000 ante
Stephen Lee
Stephen Lee

Stephen Lee moved all in for 1,400,000 from middle position and Yiannis Liperis put him at risk from the small blind.

Stephen Lee: Q4 All in
Yiannis Liperis: JJ

The flop came 697, giving Lee a flush draw, but he didn't seem to need it as the Q hit the turn. Lee was one card away from a double-up, but the J on the river gave Liperis a set.

The table couldn't believe it, but Lee was out in 17th after that brutal river.

Ryan Hohner: KK

The board ran out J94K10 which was not enough to save Horst, and he exited the tournament in 16th place.

Jonathan Schwartz Eliminated in 15th Place ($20,254)

Level 36 : Blinds 300,000/600,000, 600,000 ante
Jonathan Schwartz
Jonathan Schwartz

It's been a great few hands for Ryan Hohner, but the opposite for Jonathan Schwartz.

First, Hohner made it 1,000,000 from under the gun and Nicholas Seward three-bet to 2,750,000 in the hijack. When it got back to Hohner, he four-bet to 4,500,000, and Seward folded.

In the next hand, it got to Schwartz in the small blind, who shoved for 6,650,000. Hohner was in the big blind and took around ten seconds before he called.

Jonathan Schwartz: A10 All in
Ryan Hohner: K10

Schwartz had the dominating hand, but fell behind as Hohner flopped the nuts on Q9J. No help arrived for Schwartz on the 56 runout, and he exited in 15th.

Schwartz had a deep run in the $600 Deepstack event just last week, and another one here shows he's doing all the right things. Just a matter of time, Schwartz.

Daniel Corbett: KQ All in
Matthew Morin: A4

Lukas Hafner Eliminated in 11th Place ($25,655)

Level 38 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante
Lukas Hafner
Lukas Hafner

The Blinds were growing and Lukas Hafner figured he had to make a move. So he made this one.

Hafner raised preflop to 5,000,000 chips on the button, keeping behind 100,000. Daniel Cosner, the chip leader at the table, raised enough for Hafner to have to put that last little bit into the pot.

Lukas Hafner: 57All in
Daniel Cosner: A5

Hafner was in deep trouble. The runout 9631010 gave him a lot at a gutshot straight from the flop, but he didn't hit it, and exited in 11th place.

Mikhail Sniatovskii
Mikhail Sniatovskii

Mikhail Sniatovskii was such the short stack at the final table that he had just a measly 400,000 chips remaining after posting the big blind and ante total of 2,400,000.

Shawn Buchanan made sure the hand was played heads up with a raise from the cutouff.

Mikhail Sniatovskii: 104
Shawn Buchanan: A10

The runout of KQKK2 gave Buchanan the hand thanks to his ace.

Peter Fox
Peter Fox

Peter Fox shoved 10,100,000 from under the gun and Jonathan Stoeber called from the next seat.

Peter Fox: 98 All in
Jonathan Stoeber: QQ

Fox had just five big blinds remaining in his stack and would have been forced to put two of them in during the next hand. He did flop a piece on 495 to give him some hope, but the 36 runout meant he was out in eighth.
