Jonathan Schwartz and Yiannis Liperis were basically even in chips going into the final hand of the level, and they delicately tangled knowing so much could be at stake.
Yiannis Liperis raised under the gun to 800,000, Schwartz called in the big blind.
What looked like it could be an action flop A♠Q♦10♥, brought a 550,000 bet from Liperis, and again Schwartz made the call. The turn of 2x drew a check from each.
When the 9♠ dropped on the river, Schwartz fired first, betting 1,600,000. Liperis thought about it for a minute, then folded.
