Lichtenberger's Flush Over Koon's Straight

Level 22 : Blinds 150,000/300,000, 300,000 ante
Andrew Lichtenberger
Andrew Lichtenberger

Andrew Lichtenberger called on the button holding A9 and Jason Koon checked his option in the big blind with A5.

The flop rolled out 343 and action checked to the 7 turn where Koon checked over to Lichtenberger who bet 300,000, which Koon called.

Koon checked the river 2 over to Lichtenberger who bet 1,000,000. Koon's retort came in the form of a raise to 4,500,000 and Lichtenberger burned a time extension. Lichtenberger moved all in for 12,800,000 and Koon took off his sunglasses.

After a couple seconds of thought, Koon folded his straight as Lichtenberger narrowed the chip deficit with his flush.
