Jason Koon raised to 1,000,000 on the button with J♥9♠ and Andrew Lichtenberger defended the big blind with 8♦6♠. The flop came A♠Q♣J♠ and the action checked through to the 7♠ on the turn and the 8♣ on the river.
Lichtenberger checked for the third time and Koon finally decided to flick in a value bet of 1,200,000. Lichtenberger had other plans as he check-raised to 6,000,000 with just fourth pair. Koon used one of his time banks and then found the right call, taking down a big pot and separating himself from Lichtenberger.
