Portaleoni Makes Nice Call to Eliminate Liddell
Level 19
: Blinds 6,000/12,000, 12,000 ante
Rodrigo Portaleoni raised to 25,000 from the hijack. Only Jacob Liddell called from the big blind.
The action went check-check on the K♣9♦7♠ flop. Then on the K♠ turn, Liddell led out for 30,000. Portaleoni called.
The river came the 5♠, and Liddell moved all in. Portaleoni thought for a moment, and then eventually made the call.
Liddell showed the A♥4♠ for a bluff, while Portaleoni revealed the A♣9♠ to win the pot, eliminate Liddell, and win a bounty.
