Day 1d of the $1,500 Monster Stack is Set to be HUGE!
Welcome back to PokerNews, the official media partner of the 2025 World Series of Poker and home of live updates from all bracelet events.
Today sees the fourth and final flight of Event #37: $1,500 Monster Stack No-Limit Hold'em get started at Horseshoe and Paris Las Vegas.
This is the fourth and final Day 1 flight, which kicks off at 10 a.m. Players will clash across 11 blind levels, each lasting 60 minutes. There will be a 20-minute break every two levels, with a 75-minute dinner break after Level 8, at approximately 7 p.m.
Players start with 50,000 chips and may enter only once, provided they have not already secured a Day 1 finish. Late registration is available until the end of Level 10, at about 10:35 p.m. This is also when registration will close for good and the world will find out just how big this Monster has become!
Day 2 will feature survivors of all four flights combined at 11 a.m. on Sunday, June 15. Play will continue for another 10 blind levels, which is also the plan for Day 3. This event is not expected to crown a winner until Day 4. PokerNews traditional coverage of this event starts on Day 2.
Christopher Leach bagged up a colossal, some may say monster-sized, stack on Day 1c. Leach's 965,000 chips place him at the top of the leaderboard going into Day 2. If anyone wants to return on Day 2 with a top-ten stack, they'll need to accumulate at least 575,000 chips on Day 1d.
