Donnelly Wakes Up with Kings in the Blinds
Level 17
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Jeremy Streuli limped in the small blind but Sean Donnelly in the big blind defended with a 24,000 bet which Streuli called.
The flop came 7♦6♦3♦ and after a knuckle, Donnelly fired another 35,000 into the growing pot. Streuli stayed on, unbothered by the escalating heat.
On the J♠ turn, the same dynamic happened with Donnelly betting 55,000. The pressure was not affecting Streuli at all, and he still tagged along to see the last card.
On the river 5♣, Streuli decided to lead with an 80,000 bet and Donnelly just flat-called.
Streuli showed A♦9♥ for ace-high while Donnelly tabled K♦K♠ then scooped the pot.
