Jason Wheeler On The Hunt for Bracelet Number Two
Day 2 of Event #37: $1,500 Monster Stack No-Limit Hold'em at the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) has ended here at Horseshoe and Paris, Las Vegas. A total of 3,217 survivors from starting flights took their seats at the start of the day.
The four Day 1 starting flights generated a total of 9,920 entrants, creating a prize pool of $13,168,800. The final 1,488 players will receive payouts, with a minimum cash prize of $3,018. The winner will take home a cool $1,204,457 and the coveted WSOP gold bracelet. All players who reach the final table are guaranteed a six-figure payday, with the ninth-place finisher earning $126,705.
Of the 464 players who bagged up at the end of Day 2, Jessie Bryant holds the chip lead, going into Day 3 with 3,815,000. Bryant has just over $1,200,000 in live poker earnings and is hunting for his first WSOP Bracelet.
Hot on the heels of Bryant are Myles Mullaly (3,625,000) and Jason Maeroff (3,450,000) who round out the top three. Mullaly has approximately $700,000 in live poker earnings and Maeroff with approximately $400,000. Both are looking for their first WSOP Bracelets.

Other notable names that bagged up for Day 2 include Jason Wheeler, Gershon Distenfeld, Dylan Linde, and Andrew Moreno. Many other top name players took their chances in building a stack in the event, but unfortunately didn’t make it through to Day 3. Names such as Chris Moorman, Pedro Neves, Brad Owen and Ren Lin were all sent to the rail during Day 2.
Several 25K Fantasy players are still in the hunt for the bracelet and pick up good points for their teams. Esther Taylor is leading the way in the Fantasy Player chip counts for this event, followed by Brock Wilson & Chris Brewer.
All remaining 464 players are guaranteed a payout of $5,305 but they will all be eyeing up the top prize of $1,204,457 and the coveted WSOP Gold Bracelet.
Remaining Payouts
The tournament will resume for Day 3 at 11 a.m. local time on June 16 and the players are scheduled to play ten levels for the day. Play will begin at Level 22 and the blinds will be 15,000/30,000 with a 30,000 big blind ante. Players will get a 15-minute break after every two levels and a dinner break at the end of Level 27 at approximately 5:30 p.m.
