Rahmsdorf Makes Quick Work of Makonen

Level 30 : Blinds 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante
Sven Rahmsdorf

Joseph Williams opened for 450,000 and got an all-in three-bet shove from Alemu Makonen for 1,475,000 on the button. After asking for a count, Sven Rahmsdorf in the small blind, announced four-bet all-in, as well, for 6,700,000.

With action back to him, Williams asked for a count and went into deep thought. After a few seconds and with only about the same amount as Rahmsdorf, Williams decided to fold, leaving the two players to go to showdown.

Alemu Makonen: AK All in
Sven Rahmsdorf: JJ

The flop made Makonen stand up from his chair when it dropped 25J giving Rahmsdorf a set. The turn sealed the deal when the board paired with 5 strengthening Rahmsdorf hand, improving it into a full house.

The river 4 was a formality. Rahmsdorf scooped the pot as Makonen left the tournament floor.
