Rahmsdorf Makes Quick Work of Makonen
Joseph Williams opened for 450,000 and got an all-in three-bet shove from Alemu Makonen for 1,475,000 on the button. After asking for a count, Sven Rahmsdorf in the small blind, announced four-bet all-in, as well, for 6,700,000.
With action back to him, Williams asked for a count and went into deep thought. After a few seconds and with only about the same amount as Rahmsdorf, Williams decided to fold, leaving the two players to go to showdown.

The flop made Makonen stand up from his chair when it dropped 2♠5♣J♠ giving Rahmsdorf a set. The turn sealed the deal when the board paired with 5♠ strengthening Rahmsdorf hand, improving it into a full house.
The river 4♣ was a formality. Rahmsdorf scooped the pot as Makonen left the tournament floor.
