A Painful River for Nguyen

Level 29 : Blinds 80,000/160,000, 160,000 ante

The action was picked up on a flop of 36J with a pot of around 700,000. Dinh Nguyen, in the small blind, bet 1,000,000 leaving around 600,000 behind. Daniel Eichhorn, in the big blind, went into the tank considering his options given that he only had 1,800,000 behind.

After some time to think, he shoved all his chips in. Nguyen mulled the situation, taking his time. At one point, he asked, "Are we going on break after this hand?" When someone at the table confirmed, he took a few more seconds before making the call.

Dinh Nguyen: 77 All in
Daniel Eichhorn: 76

The turn 8 kept Nguyen's lead with his sevens. But the river didn't bode well for him as it dropped 6 giving Eichorn trips. Nguyen, graciously bid everyone "Good luck," then left the table as Eichorn added the chips to his stack.
