Gupta Turns Trips

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Since players returned from dinner, Table #670 played out three hands. In the first, Linyang Song shoved the button and took down the pot, and in the next, David Uvaydov raised from under the gun and took it down.

In the latest hand, Bryan Allen opened from middle position and Ashish Gupta called out of the small blind.

The flop came 1045 and both checked to the 10 turn, where Gupta check-called a bet of 3,000,000 from Allen. When the J hit the river, both tapped the table once again and Gupta flashed A10 for trips to win the pot.

Linyang Song open-shoved on the button for 13,200,000 and got a caller in the man to his left, small blind Ivan Ruban.

Linyang Song: AK All in
Ivan Ruban: 77

Ruban's sevens stood firm on the flop of 98J. He continued his lead with the 6 turn and also got some outs to improve with an open-ended straight draw. Song's only hope was to hit one of his over cards on the final street.

But Ruban improved further when his draw was completed with the 5 river making Song's elimination a certainty.

Temm Wins a Flip Against Ruban

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Keith Temm shoved for 12,800,000 from early position and Ivan Ruban called on the button.

Keith Temm: AK All in
Ivan Ruban: 1010

Temm needed to connect with the board in order to stay alive, and found a good flop as he made two pair on KA4. A 44 runout left both players with a full house, but Temm's was best, meaning he doubled up.

On the same table, two orbits in a row the action folded to Ashish Gupta in the small blind, and both times he shoved into David Uvaydov's big blind. Uvaydov folded both times, meaning his stack dipped to around 15,000,000.

Lei Finds a Double-Up

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Daniel Lei shoved his stack of exactly 14,000,000 in from under the gun and when it got to Bryan Allen in the big blind, he confirmed the count before he called.

Daniel Lei: AQ All in
Bryan Allen: AJ

Allen was calling for a jack, but the 2A728 runout didn't give him what he needed, which meant Lei scored a double-up, and Allen was left with just a few big blinds.

Allen Folds with 100,000 Behind

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Bryan Allen opened in the cutoff with 5,000,000 leaving one 100,000-chip behind. He got one caller in Dylan Linde in the small blind to see the flop.

The flop came QK5 which both players checked. On the turn Q, Linde bet the minimum 1,200,000, pulled it back and placed in 100,000 as that was what Allen had behind.

Allen went into the tank with players telling him that there was no action on the other table. He took so much time that they had to call clock on him. On the final two seconds, Allen pushed his cards to the middle for a fold.

[Removed:548] to Allen's right was so surprised, that his eyes went wide and all he could say was "Wow!"
