Keith Temm open-shoved in hijack for 2,300,000 sending Michael Ruane in cutoff to the tank. After a few seconds, Ruane announced all-in prompting a series of folds to the big blind.
To the surprise of the table, which evoked an audible gasp of surprise, big blind player Sergio Da Silva Veloso picked up a whole tower of 500,000-chips and jammed it in the middle for a call, taking all three to a showdown.

Temm looked at a potential triple up on the flop Q♠K♥3♥ which gave him a set. Ruane and Veloso still had minimal outs for the main pot but were mainly fighting for the side pot worth around 14,000,000.
The runout of 5♥Q♥ improved Temm's hand to a full house for the main pot but didn't change the situation for the sidepot which was awarded to Ruane.

Mario Colavita opened from the hijack and Ryan Plant defended his big blind.
The flop came 6♥6♦9♣ and after Plant checked, Colavita bet 425,000. Plant then check-raised to 900,000, and Colavita made it 1,500,000 to go. Plant called.
The 3♦ turn checked through and Plant shoved when the J♣ hit the river. Colavita had around 3,750,000 behind and after thinking for around 20 seconds, he flicked in the call.
Plant then revealed a bluff with 8♥7♦, and Colavita's Q♥Q♠ was good the double-up.

Hye Park raised from the button to 600,000. In the small blind, Matthew Kramer went all-in for 1,475,000. Ashish Gupta, in the big blind, also went all-in covering both players. Park made the call.

Jules Rohr opened to 600,000 from under the gun and set off a chain reaction of all-ins that nobody expected. First, Daniyal Gheba shoved from middle position for around 5,800,000. Ryan Law then moved his stack of around 6,000,000 into the middle from the small blind.
In the big blind was Steven Frew, and he wasted no time in making the call, which put two players at risk. Rohr, seeing all the action in front of him, folded his K♠Q♠ face up.

"I'm dead aren't I," said Gheba, who was in the worst shape preflop. He did catch a pair on the turn of 9♠9♣2♦Q♦, but the 6♠ river changed nothing as Law scooped the massive pot to triple up. Gheba was eliminated, and Frew's stack took a big hit.

The action was picked up after an all in for 8,000,000 from Remy Murcia sitting in the small blind and a call from Alli Mallu from middle position.

Gauley was ahead with ace-high and his lead was sustained on the Q♠K♥8♠ flop, which also gave Temm an open-ended straight draw. The turn 8♦ maintained the status quo, but the J♠ river gave Temm two pair with the board, securing him a double up.

Tomas Szwarcberg min-raised from early position and Stephen Foutty called from the big blind.
The flop came 7♠3♣J♥ and Foutty check-called a bet of 475,000 from Szwarcberg to see the 5♠ turn. Again Foutty checked, and again Szwarcberg bet, this time for 1,225,000. Foutty went into the tank for around a minute, but ultimately decided to fold.
