Zhen Chen shoved the button and Michael Ruane called off his stack of around 9,600,000 from the small blind.

Ruane had the better kicker and managed to double up as he paired his king on the 10♣4♠9♠2♣K♥ runout.

Not long after, there was an open before Ruane three-bet to around 4,000,000 from the small blind. Bryan Allen shoved from the big blind for 8,700,000, and when it got back to Ruane, he called.

Allen's Big Slick managed to hold up as the runout came 9♥7♠6♠K♠J♥, earning him a double-up.

Right after securing back-to-back double-ups, Nicholas Funaro was in the small blind facing a raise from under the gun by Daniel Lei.
Funaro went all-in for 11,000,000 and was called by Lei.

Next hand off the deck, Ivan Ruban went all-in from the button and Funaro called in the big blind.

The runout of 5♦4♥2♥10♣A♦ was scary for Funaro, but secured himself back to back double-ups.

Daniel Lei opened for 1,600,000 in cutoff and got an all-in reply from small blind Keith Temm. Lei called taking them to showdown.

The flop came 3♠5♣10♣ giving Lei a pair and evoking a groan of despair from Temm. Disheartened, he started fixing his things when the 6♣ turn fell.

Almost ready to leave, Temm called a club to come out and, as if heard by the pwoers that be, the 2♣ fell on the river giving him a one-card flush with his ace.

Zherebchenko spiked a pair of kings on the flop of 9♠J♦K♦ leaving Funaro to hope for a miracle. The miracle did not arrive in the runout of 5♣7♦. Zherebchenko had a massive boost in stack leaving Funaro with only 2,100,000 behind.

Mario Colavita was involved in two all-in situations in a short space of time.

First, Remy Murcia opened to 1,600,000 on the hijack and Colavita shoved 9,700,000 on the button. After the blinds folded, Murcia called.

Two hands later, Colavita raised the button to 1,600,000 and David Yonnotti shoved for 8,600,000 out of the small blind. Colavita called.

Yonnotti had the ducks and found a third on the Q♥2♦Q♣ flop to make a full house. It was a long way back for Colavita, and the 9♣ turn left him drawing dead, with the 3♦ hitting the river.
