Ivanov Provides Double Knockout on Soft Bubble

Level 17

Limit Hold'em

Alyn Dagher raised in the hijack. Stanislav Ivanov tossed in a call on the button, and Michael Horowitz defended his big blind.

After five bets went in on the 669 flop, Horotwitz was all in for 22,000, and Dagher for 33,500, both being put at risk by Ivanov.

Michael Horowitz: AQ All in
Alyn Dagher: AQ All in
Stanislav Ivanov: J9

Ivanov had a decent lead with his two pair as Horowitz and Dagher blocked each other's outs. The 28 runout did not provide an ace or queen, and Ivanov knocked out both players a few spots away from the money.

Lin Leads Into Barcoma

Level 17

Limit Hold'em

David Lin raised under the gun and called when Emmanuel Barcoma three-bet on the button. Lin check-called Barcoma's bets on the 108Q flop and J turn before he led out on the A river.

Barcoma snap-folded his hand and lamented the river for quite a while as he saw the chips being shipped to his opponent.

Level 17

In the 897th episode of the PokerNews Podcast, Chad Holloway and Kyna England are joined by PokerNews Ontario Ambassador Kyle Anderson, who fills in for Mike Holtz. The trio discusses the deadly shooting that took place across the street from the 2025 World Series of Poker (WSOP) in front of the Bellagio Fountains, and then dives into the color-up controversy involving Tyler Brown, who shared his story with PokerNews.

Kyna then sounds off on the cancelled WSOP Online bracelet event, Michael Lavin won a gold bracelet and an extra $1,000,000 thanks to ClubWPT Gold, and Benny Glaser claimed two bracelets early in the summer. Other tournament winners include Josh Reichard, Brad Ruben, Blaz Zerjav, and Nick Guagenti, who denied Chino Rheem his first bracelet.

After recapping Dusti Smith's win in the Wynn Ladies High Roller and a look ahead to some upcoming poker charity events, Chad shares details on his recent Live Reality Game (LRG) adventure in which he left the WSOP for 10 days to compete in a Survivor-based game, Surviving Reelfoot Season 13, in the woods of Tennessee.

Joe Jeffery

Omaha Hi-Lo

Robert Lauria raised first to act and was called by Bernd Gleissner from directly behind him, Joe Jeffery in the small blind, and Nicolas Milgrom in the big blind for a four-way pot.

Jeffery led out for a bet on the 4K6 flop and was called by Milgrom. Lauria got out of the way and Gleissner raised. Both Jeffery and Milgrom called.

The 10 brought three cards to a flush on the turn and Jeffery bet again. Milgrom and Gleissner called.

Jeffery bet a final time on the 7 river, which got a call from Milgrom and a fold from Gleissner.

Jeffery turned over AQ93 for the nut flush with a low and Milgrom sent his hand into the muck.

After sixth street, Tafur was still drawing live to a seven-five. He received a six to make a seven-six, but Brindle already had a better seven-six as Tafur said his goodbyes.
