Petrangelo Sends Maue to the Rail

Level 12 : Blinds 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Nick Petrangelo raised it up from the cutoff and Leonard Maue three-bet out of the small blind. Petrangelo called and they went heads-up to a flop of KJ7 with around 500,000 in the middle. Maue led out with a bet of 265,000 and Petrangelo called.

The turn was the 4 and Maue fired out another bet of 400,000. Petrangelo shipped all in as the bigger stack and Maue eventually called off his stack of around 1,200,000.

Petrangelo flipped over KQ for top pair and had Maue drawing to just a single out with QQ. The 8 hit the river and Maue was eliminated, sending his chips over to Petrangelo.

"It doesn't get much better than that," Petrangelo said moments later.
