The action folded to Alex Foxen in the small blind and he raised to 1,400,000 with the 10♣3♦, Seth Davies in the big blind defended the 8♦5♦ to spike a flush draw with the A♦2♦2♥ flop. Foxen continued for 800,000 before staring at his table neighbour while Davies only glanced at the board and tossed in calling chips.
On the 5♣ turn, Foxen bumped it up to 2,800,000 with his new-found gutshot and the far bigger stack size but Davies called after a very brief period of consideration. The board paired for the second time on the 5♥ river, giving Davies fives full of aces.
Foxen slowed down and checked, once again immediately staring at Davies who peeked at his cards once again. Davies then bet all but one chip and forced out Foxen.
