Chris Brewer Eliminated in 5th Place ($1,066,731)

Level 20 : Blinds 200,000/400,000, 400,000 ante

Chris Brewer opted to limp in from the small blind with the QJ and Alex Foxen raised it up to 1,600,000 - four times the big blind - holding the 99 in the big blind. The duo headed to the Q33 flop on which Brewer checked and Foxen continued for 900,000, picking up a call from Brewer.

That led them to the 5 on the turn and Brewer checked again, prompting a second barrel worth 1,800,000 by Foxen. After brief contemplation, Brewer called and the 9 rolled off on the river.

With 6,925,000 behind, Brewer checked and Foxen declared a bet of 10 million which covered the stack of his opponent. Brewer instantly sighed and then carefully counted his stack before he called all-in to see the cards turned over.

"Holy fuck, what the fuck? I mean, how does this happen every time?" Brewer exclaimed as he shot out of his chair, half laughing half in disbelief ... he tried to add more words after that, but grabbed his belongings instead and walked off the live stream table.

Brewer, a former winner of this particular event, bows out in fifth place and is the first player to earn a seven-figure payday worth $1,066,731.
